We enjoy getting out and driving to Yale to eat at Mugsy’s of an evening, it’s totally worth it! We live in East Tulsa and it’s about an hour but some could do it in 45 minutes. The food is awesome and I love the western atmosphere! They are very customer oriented and welcoming! We always eat the brisket sandwiches!
A quick drive to Yale, Oklahoma, for some awesome BBQ. Nothing from a mix or powder. It is all homemade. The fried mushrooms are tender and delicious, and you can taste the beer in the batter of the onion rings.
I have only been to Mugsy's twice now and I love it. The atmosphere is warm and welcoming. The staff is friendly and attentive. I had ribs the first time and a rib eye this go around. Both were excellent! One of the best steaks I've had in some time! The steaks are priced a little high but still reasonable for the quality. I will definitely be going again! Also, check out there banquet room. I say this is an awesome attraction to Yale.
There is alot to like about Mugsys! The atmosphere is very friendly, very laid back. The decor is fun to look at, & has some patriotic flavor to it. We were there for a long time, & never felt pressured to leave. The food is good, even on the verge of great. The service is excellent. The fried pies…now that’s worth driving over for! They are so good! We will definitely be dining there again.
Best beef brisket I have ever eaten! It was so moist and tender! My husband had the fried green tomato BLT and loved it. The service is great! What a gem of a smokehouse restaurant!
Mugsy's has become our go to place for gormet food. Very close attention is paid to the quality brought to your table, not only in the food but the service as well. The price? Very reasonably! Want something different than the menu? No problem for these folks!
I have had 8 items off the menu and tasted more, would not hesitate to order anything that sounded good.
The place is homey with top notch service and food.

Ordered the catfish dinner. I've always bragged about the quantity and quality of this restaurant. However, the catfish dinner reminded me of a bad day fishing. The menu doesn't say how much fish you will get. That being said.
Two fillets from fish about 3 or 4 lb. 3 hush puppies and a piece of lettuce.
Raise that a couple of bucks if you have to. 4 fish fillets and a basket of hush puppies. Heck I don't want to ask my family to share their meal with me...
Excellent steak house. Owned and operated by locals. Service was great, people were friendly, food was delicious. Lots of desserts to choose from. Even enjoyed a tour and history of the place. We plan on going again soon.
I had my 54th birthday celebration at Mugsy’s and it was awesome! We had calf fries, cheese balls, steak and of course fried pies. Food was great! Service was great! If you like fried pies then just head that way now! You do not want to miss their fried pies with ice cream served freshly fried!! Spectacular!!!
